The cargo turnover was up to&nbsp;5.14 million tons&nbsp;which is an increase of 72% on a year-to-year basis. A big part of the growth could be accounted to the additional container volume&nbsp;MSC&nbsp;was bringing to the terminal. MSC is the mother company of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tilgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Terminal Investment Limited (TIL)&nbsp;<\/a>who is the major shareholder in the Smelte Terminal. With the additional import\/expert and also <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  href=\"https:\/\/rbs-tops.com\/es\/glossary\/transshipment\/\"  data-mobile-support=\"0\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>transshipment<\/a> volume the container traffic was up to 386.982 TEU in 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1089 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/rbs-tops.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/SML-edited.jpg\" alt=\"SMELTE TERMINAL\" width=\"277\" height=\"150\"\/>For many years <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smelte.lt\/en\/services\/container-terminalservices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Smelte<\/a>&nbsp;is a customer of ours, running the&nbsp;RBS TOS solution&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rbs-tops.com\/es\/products\/tops-terminal-solution\/tops-advance\/\">TOPS Advanced<\/a>.
