For some\norganizations, the increasing restrictions on quarantine control have forced\nclosures as the nature of the business cannot sustain a work from the home\napproach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify\">However, for others within the global supply\nchain, essential goods still need to be transported. As a result, many impacted\nsectors such as shipping liners, truck companies, and terminals are under\nimmense pressure to deliver upon the demands. With many fighting on the\nfrontlines, these sectors must consider the alternatives if they seek to\nprotect the wellbeing of individuals and continue operation in the face of the\nevolving pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify\">The outbreak has undermined the traditional\ninfrastructure of on-premise systems and liberated the birth of cloud\nsolutions. A TOS in the cloud is the prime example of allowing personnel to\nenter a secure environment from home and conduct terminal operations without\nphysical or on-premise interaction. Current cloud practices are saving\nterminals and are even heightened in the breadth of automated equipment,\nlimiting the number of staff required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify\">More than a third of the world&rsquo;s population is\nunder some degree of quarantine measure, and workforces are exhausting\ndifferent avenues to adapt.
