Automated Terminal Trailers (ATT)

The ATT is an alternative to the tractor-trailer combination used for moving containers in and around terminals. It is equipped with an automatic navigation and guiding system.

Before entering the docking station, the vehicle raises its chassis by using vertical cylinders located in each of the axles. The ATT then moves to position itself inside the docking station in automatic reverse mode, without any intervention from the driver. When the vehicle lowers its chassis by approximately 20 centimeters, it deposits the container on the supporting brackets provided by the docking station. Once the chassis is a lower, it can then leave the docking station in forward mode.
